African Safari Clothing: Uganda
Safari attire is casual and invariably comfortable. A combination of light clothing, hats, sturdy shoes, long sleeve shirts, sweat shirt or fleece for evenings up country will do. Because of Uganda’s position on the Equator, a need for sun cream is necessary. Although women in up country may feel more comfortable wearing clothing that cover their knees and shoulders, this is not mandatory. It is usually hot by midday, but evenings are always pleasant.
